PRAGUE TO BUDAPEST

Day 1 | Prague, Czech Republic. Welcome! You will be met at the airport by your Scenic Tours Representative and transferred to your centrally-located hotel. Enjoy three Nights in Prague.

Day 2 | Prague. Prague is possibly Europe’s most attractive city. Join your local guide on a walking tour of the Old Town where you will see the Astronomical Clock and walk across the Charles Bridge. One of the most familiar sights in Prague, the Charles Bridge was commissioned in 1357 by Charles IV after the Judith Bridge was destroyed by floods. (FB)

Day 3 | Prague. Enjoy exploring this magnificent city at your leisure where your Tour Director is on hand to help plan your day. You may wish to visit the Old Jewish Cemetery and Gothic Synagogue, built around 1270 or visit one of the many museums Prague has to offer. If crystal is your thing then you may choose to visit Ruckl crystal, linked to a 300 year long tradition in glass making as a family and today manufactures an extensive range of leaded crystal in a wide variety of decorations. Day 4 | Prague. Nuremberg, Germany. Today journey by coach to Nuremberg. On arrival you will be personally welcomed by your friendly dedicated staff on-board your luxury Scenic ‘Space-Ship’. After unpacking for the start of your 7 night voyage, join your fellow guests for a Welcome Cocktail in the lounge. (FB,D)

Day 5 | Nuremberg. Today offers three included Scenic FreeChoice tours to choose from: (1) see the infamous WWII sites followed by a visit to the Documentation Centre; or (2) ‘Tastes of Nuremberg’: enjoy a delicious sampling of Nuremberg’s famous bratwurst, beer and gingerbread; or (3) visit the Audi Museum and car production factory in Ingolstadt. Enjoy the Captain’s welcome dinner this evening. (FB,L,D)

Day 6 | Regensburg. Regensburg is one of Germany’s finest preserved cities. Choose from one of the following included Scenic FreeChoice tours: (1) a guided walking tour including an organ recital; or (2) a walking tour of Regensburg with a visit to the golf museum; or (3) a guided biking tour to the Walhalla Memorial.(FB,L,D)

Day 7 | Passau. Linz, Austria. Your included Scenic FreeChoice today gives you a choice of three countries: (1) a guided tour of Passau in Germany; or (2) a visit to Salzburg, setting for ‘The Sound of Music’ and birthplace of Mozart; or (3) visit Salzburg’s Salt Mines of Hallein acclaimed for their ‘white gold’; or (4) take an excursion to the medieval Czech town of Cesky Krumlov. Day 8 | Melk. Dürnstein. Vienna. This morning your ship docks in Melk where you can choose one the following included Scenic FreeChoice tours: (1) visit the magnificent Benedictine Abbey; or (2) enjoy a guided walking tour of Melk village; or (3) take a guided bike ride along the river, from Melk to the picturesque town of Dürnstein, where you will have the opportunity to witness some truly spectacular scenery whilst your Scenic ‘Space-Ship’ glides through the awe-inspiring wine region of the Wachau Valley to meet up with you. Tonight your cruise ship arrives in Vienna. (FB,L,D)

Day 9 | Vienna. To get acquainted with this beautiful city, enjoy an Included guided tour of the famous sights including the Ringstrasse. Following the city tour you may choose from one of the following included Scenic FreeChoice options: (1) a fabulous guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer palace of the Habsburgs; or (2) take a guided excursion to the Slovakian capital of Bratislava; or (3) witness the world famous Lipizzaner Stallions refining and perfecting their skills during their routine morning exercise program or a guided tour of the oldest Classical Dressage riding school in the world (not available for all departure dates).

SCENIC ENRICH — Highlights include a glass of Austrian Sekt at the majestic Palais Liechtenstein followed by an enchanting private Viennese evening concert featuring the music of Strauss and Mozart. The Palais is also known as the Garden Palace and it reveals fascinating insights into 400 years of artistic patronage and is where the Prince of Liechtenstein showcases his privately owned art collection. Day 10 | Budapest, Hungary. Budapest is one of Eastern Europe’s most ancient cities. Choose from one of the following included Scenic FreeChoice tours: (1) discover the highlights of both Buda and Pest during a guided city tour; or (2) relax in the Thermal Baths and Spa; or (3) explore the labyrinths of the Cave Hospital; or (4) take an excursion to the Skanzen Open Air Museum. Tonight celebrate with Folklore music before dinner. (FB,L,D)

Day 11 | Budapest. After breakfast this morning it’s time to farewell your fellow passengers and disembark the ship. Your Scenic Tours Representative will transfer you to the airport for your onward or homebound flight. (FB)
