Day 1 | Amsterdam, Holland. Toast the marvellous journey ahead of you at this evening’s welcome reception. (Please book flights to arrive no later than 5pm). (D)

Day 2 | Antwerp, Belgium. Freechoice — Be seduced by beautiful World Heritage-listed Bruges or take a guided stroll through Antwerp, the diamond capital of the world. (B,L,D)

Day 3 | Veere, Holland. Freechoice — Marvel at the modern wonder that is Holland’s Delta Works, and then visit the historic Storm Surge Barrier. Alternatively, discover charming Veere, either through a walking tour or a guided bike ride that will also take in the surrounding dykes. Freechoice Dining — Tonight savour delicious Dutch delicacies at your choice of three superb dining locations, each presenting fine cuisine originating from villages in this region of the Netherlands. Day 4 | Nijmegen. Freechoice — Take a guided city tour of Nijmegen, or learn more about the Battle of Arnhem at the Arnhem Airborne museum. Alternatively, enjoy a guided cycling tour through the city. (B,L,D)

Day 5 | Maastricht. Explore Holland’s oldest fortified city, Maastricht and discover its magnificent buildings and historic cobblestone town centre. (B,L,D)

Day 6 | Duisburg. Freechoice — Home to the largest inland harbour in the world, the city of Duisburg is just waiting to surprise and delight you. Alternatively, try something little different with a visit to the Zollverein industrial site. (B,L,D)

Day 7 | Koblenz, Germany. You’ll be enchanted by the history and beauty of Koblenz, which straddles two of Europe’s most beautiful waterways. Sundowners — Board a cable car in Koblenz for a scenic journey over the Rhine River to the impressive Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. It’ll be a moment to remember, and a great opportunity to mingle with newfound friends against yet another spectacular backdrop, while toasting the day’s end. (B,L,D)

Day 8 | Cochem. A medieval gem resting on the banks of the Moselle River, Cochem will make you feel as if you’re stepping into a fairy tale. Explore this charming city on a tour that culminates in a visit to the iconic Reichsburg Castle. (B,L,D)

Day 9 | Moselle Valley Cruising. Admire the beautiful Moselle Valley from the comfort of your Scenic Space-Ship as you relax on board during a full day of cruising. If you’re feeling energetic, take a guided bike ride to the pretty village of Bernkastel, where you can re-join the cruise. (B,L,D)

Day 10 | Bernkastel. Freechoice — Travel to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and tour this exquisite city. Alternatively, take a guided walk through Trier, or get acquainted with beautiful Bernkastel. (B,L,D)

Day 11 | The Rhine Gorge. Rüdesheim. Cruise aboard your Scenic Space-Ship enjoy unrivalled views across the spectacular World Heritage-listed Rhine Gorge. Later, succumb to charming Rüdesheim, where you’ll board the ‘Winzerexpress’mini-train for a guided visit of Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Afterwards, enjoy a cable car ride to the Niederwald Monument for a spectacular bird’s eye view of the river. (B,L,D)

Day 12 | Mannheim. Freechoice — Explore the historic university town of Heidelberg, with its fine Renaissance Castle, or experience the thrill of the Hockenheim Formula 1 track, with a museum visit and an insider tour of the circuit. Enrich — Enjoy a private tour of the Palace of Rastatt, a Baroque masterpiece and one of the most magnificent historic venues in the region, before enjoying an exclusive classical concert in its resplendent hall. It’ll be an enormously enriching evening of pomp and grandeur. (B,L,D)

Day 13 | Strasbourg, France. Freechoice — Visit Strasbourg and discover La Petite France, or journey to Mittelbergheim in the Alsace and sample some of the best wines the region has to offer. Alternatively, visit a local market with your on board chef. (B,L,D)

Day 14 | Breisach, Germany. Freechoice — Discover the mystical Black Forest during a hike and cable car ride, or enjoy a visit to the French town of Colmar. Alternatively, take a guided bike ride from Breisach to Colmar. (B,L,D)

Day 15 | Basel, Switzerland. After a delicious breakfast, prepare to head home. Your Scenic Representative will transfer you to the airport for your onward flight. It may be the end of your cruise, but it’s the beginning of a lifetime of fond memories. (Please schedule flights to depart after midday). (B)
