ST. PETERSBURG TO MOSCOW

Day 1 | St. Petersburg, Russia. Arrive at St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo Airport where you’ll be transferred to the ship. (D)

Day 2 | St. Petersburg. Enjoy a panoramic city tour of enchanting St. Petersburg, taking in all of the majestic sights, such as Nevsky Prospect, Palace Square and Winter Palace, the Church of the Resurrection, St. Issac’s, and so much more. During the evening, be treated to a spectacular Russian ballet at the Alexandrinsky Theater. (BB,L,D)

Day 3 | St. Petersburg. Be amazed as you tour the world-famous Hermitage Museum, which is housed in one of the world’s largest palaces. The museum contains over a thousand rooms and features nearly three million works of art by masters including Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. (BB,L,Captain’s Welcome Gala)

Day 4 | St. Petersburg. Travel to nearby Pushkin to visit lavish Catherine Palace and Park, a masterpiece of Russian Rococo architecture unrivaled in luxury and scale. (BB,L,D)

Day 5 | Mandrogi. Cruising the Svir River. Visit the reconstructed 18th-century village of Mandrogi, which brings Russia’s past vibrantly to life. Peek inside its wooden houses to observe craftsmen making matryoshkas, lace, and ceramics. Cap the afternoon off with a traditional shashlik picnic. (BB,L,D)

Day 6 | Kizhi Island. Cruising Lake Onega. Kizhi Island's famous Open Air Museum is a UNESCO World Heritage Site containing the awe-inspiring Transfiguration Church, which is built entirely from wood. After your visit, enjoy scenic sailing on Lake Onega, the second-largest lake in Europe. (BB,L,D)

Day 7 | Goritsy. Experience how locals live as you learn how traditions and handicraft techniques are preserved during a visit to the Children’s House of Arts and Crafts. Take in a wood construction workshop, and then stroll the grounds of 14th-century St. Cyrill of the White Lake Monastery. (BB,L,D)

Day 8 | Cruising Lake Rybinsk. Yaroslavl. Yaroslavl is considered one of Russia’s most beautiful cities. You’ll visit the town’s exquisite Church of Elijah the Prophet and delight in a tasting of local produce at the farmers' market. (BB,L,D)

Day 9 | Uglich. Uglich is a delightful and picturesque Golden Ring city. Visit the Church of St. Dimitry, built to honor the slain son of Ivan the Terrible, and spend some free time browsing the local market area, replete with small shops and the stalls of local artisans. (BB,L,D)

Day 10 | Moscow. Your panoramic city tour includes the most remarkable city sights, such as Red Square, St. Basil’s Cathedral, Novodevichy (New Maiden) Convent, and impressive Tverskaya Street. (BB,L,D)

Day 11 | Moscow. Visit the Kremlin—a self-contained 15th-century city with palaces, armories, 15th- and 17th-century cathedrals, and a Medieval fortress. You’ll also explore the Kremlin’s Armory Museum—home of treasures from the Czar’s coronation robes to the famous Fabergé Eggs. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure with shuttle bus service provided between the ship and city center. (BB,L,Captain's Farewell Dinner)

Day 12 | Moscow. Enjoy an entire day exploring Moscow at your leisure. Return to the sights that caught your eye on your panoramic tour. Shuttle bus service will be provided between the ship and the city center. (BB,L,D)

Day 13 | Moscow. Disembark the ship and transfer to the Moscow airport for your flight home. (CB/BB)
