Paris and Barcelona Hotel Package Overview

PARIS

Begin your vacation in the most visited city in the world, the “City of Lights,” Paris where your complimentary 3 night hotel package will place you right in the center of this captivating city. You’ll have plenty of time to recover from your flight and see all of the famous sights and sounds of Paris by day and by night.

Your package will include a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Paris including places like the Champs Elysees, the Place de la Concorde and of course, the Eiffel Tower.  You’ll also have plenty of time to explore Notre Dame Cathedral and other prominent sights.

Because you are in Paris for three days, you’ll have an ample amount of time to take the metro over to the Left Bank and wonder about visiting the many local shops and cafes and artists galleries.  There’s oh so much more and your friends at Premier will ensure you’re well prepared to take it all in.

Your exciting Paris package will conclude with an “included” TGV high-speed train ride that will whisk you through the beautiful French countryside to Lyon, where you will join your shipmates aboard AmaWaterways elegant AmaDagio.

Package also includes daily breakfast while in Paris.

BARCELONA

Now that you’re totally relaxed, we conclude your Thanksgiving in Europe experience with a visit to the city made famous by Antoni Gaudi, the renowned Spanish Architect.  But, first we have a remarkable tour from Arles to Barcelona which will provide you an array of delightful sightseeing along the way including; Camargue, a unique marshland found only in this region, you’ll visit the medieval town of Perpignan, France where you’ll have time for lunch before going on to Barcelona.

There are few cities in the world that can compare with the elegance and charisma of Gaudi’s Barcelona and it’s one of the world’s great walking cities as well.  There may be more UNESCO World Heritage Sites here than almost any other city in Europe.  As a part of your package, you’ll enjoy a full day of touring as you embark on your complimentary escorted sightseeing tour.  Visit, Montjuic Hill where there are some great vies of the city, enjoy the Las Ramblas area, a tree-lined boulevard in the heart of the city.  You’ll also visit the Gothic Quarter, the medieval area of Barcelona with its great shops, unusual cafes and wonderful art.  While your tour will touch on the works of Gaudi; including a visit to Casa Mila, Casa Batllo and maybe his most infamous work, La Sagrada Familia, there’s so much to see, you’ll probably want to come back during your free time.

If you’ve never tried Castilian food, you’re in for a treat.  You can enjoy some of the most unusual and finest seafood in the entire world, all prepared fresh daily in the many fine restaurants of Barcelona.

Your package will also include a transfer to the airport for your flight back to the states.
