Hi Nick:
This form simply sends all the info directly via email; we do not need a module or anything fancy.
If you want to do the script as a snippet, I have also created one for you in MODx called: — I placed it in the ADG PRC Cruise Category. There isn't anything in the snippet at this time.
The 4 data fields should be identified as I have them in the table, but I would like the text color to be #f3f3f3f [so it is not too noticeable] and italicized.
Functions:
The referral email should include the following subject and sending/reply to address:
$headers = "From: Premier River Cruises <refer-a-friend@premierrivercruises.com>";
$subject = 'Thank you very much for referring a Friend to Premier River Cruises';
I have already set up the email address which forwards to Rick's PRC address.
The email Rick receives should have the following info in it, so he can clearly see who is the referrer and who is the refferred:
Your Full Name: [referrer's full name]
Your Email Address: [referrer's email address]
Your Friend's Full Name: [referred's full name]
Your Friend's Email Address: [referred's email address]
The "SEND REFERRAL" button will not only send the email, but a thank you pop-up window will be activated on the click. I have already done the pop up and it is activated, but you will probably have to change various elements in the html [see below]. I simply copied the html from the Inside Scoop Form, but we are not using all of the previous developers form code on this simple email form, so don't know if we need all this - or just a variation:

ALSO: I am wondering if we should add a field under Friend's Info for a "Confirm Email" field.
Thoughts on this? We want to keep this form very informal and non-aggressive.
If we do a confirm email field, we will have to do an "error message" asking person to correct the email address before submitting.
